What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage and device identifiers — can also store or access information on your device. They can be strictly necessary to operate a website, or optional, for example where they support analytics or advertising.
How NuCompute X uses them
This website uses only strictly necessary technologies. We do not use analytics, advertising, marketing or behavioural tracking technologies, and we do not store identifiers in your browser’s local storage or session storage for those purposes.
Because no optional technologies are in use, we do not present a cookie consent banner. Displaying one would ask you to make a choice that has no effect. If optional technologies are introduced in future, we will implement a genuine consent mechanism and those technologies will not operate until consent is given.
Technologies currently in use
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | First-party cookie (HTTP only) | Bot management and abuse protection for the website. | 30 minutes |
| ncx-gate | NuCompute Exchange Limited | First-party cookie (HTTP only) | Remembers that a visitor has entered the access password while the website is in private preview. Removed when the site becomes public. | 7 days |
Both are classified as strictly necessary: one protects the website from automated abuse, the other is required for access control during the private preview period.
Third-party requests
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. These requests do not set cookies, but your IP address is visible to Google as part of delivering the font files. Website delivery and security are provided by Cloudflare and by our deployment platform, Lovable.
We do not embed advertising pixels, social media trackers, video players, chat widgets or scheduling widgets on this website. If embedded content such as video or scheduling is introduced in future, this policy and our consent approach will be reviewed first.
Controlling cookies
Strictly necessary technologies cannot be switched off through a preference manager, because the website cannot operate securely without them. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although parts of the website may then not work as intended.
If we later introduce optional technologies, a preference manager and a “Cookie settings” control will be added so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it.
